We have lots of it here! Both outside my office window in central London (reasonably rare) and stashed all over the place at home. it is cold but the snow is so beautiful that we dont mind! The trains were all over the place but I got in safely in the end. It seems people dont bother to give up seats to pregnant ladies any more. I had to ask to get the spare seat when it came up as well. But anyway I am trying not to be grumpy about these things!
A woman whose blog I have been following gave birth to a 10lb baby yesterday! What a whopper! Hope mine doesnt turn out to be that big! It is amazing how exciting it can be even though I have never met this person!!
Not much other news. Did I blog about the nightmares we had with our worksurfaces being fitted? Essentially they were supposed to be fitted on Monday but the guy with the granite never turned up! The poor plumber came and took out hte sink and hob to be ready for them, waited and waited and was still there 12 hours later. Then he had to plumb it all back in again at the end of hte day. It messed us up and I dread to think how he was feeling when he left at 8pm in the deep snow with a 1 hour drive home. I was so thankful he was a man of integrity who didnt just leave us with our oven and sink in the middle of the kitchen. It is supposed to be fitted on saturday morning. We will see!! Trying to negotiate a discount at the moment.
