Weekend

is nearly here. I cooked for my brother and me last night which was nice. hadnt seen him in ages. he is suitably vague about his plans for his life, as always. he has sold his flat and is now renting a room near his work. he is still looking for somewhere to buy but sensibly doesnt want to rush into it. as all the properties in the area he is looking are currently falling in value anyway i dont think he is particularly missing out. in fact he might benefit from his fortuitous timing!

This weekend SImon and i have NO PLANS! I cannot remember the last time that happened so we intend to spend it together. of course, decorating is bound to feature in there pretty highly but at least it wont need to be crammed in around 1001 other things. i am determined to go for a swim this weekend so hold me to account next week if i havent done it! i have monday off work too which i am looking forward to. plan to spend it with my mum...

nothing really much else to say. my tummy button seems to be changing rather earlier than i was expecting though - seems to be going quite firm at the top. is this normal for 18 weeks' pregnant, anyone know?!
